• 弟子たちはイエス様に、人々に食べさせるものがないので、人々を家に帰してほしいと頼みました。するとイエス様は驚くべき答えをおっしゃいました。「あなたがたが彼らに食べる物を与えなさい。」
• もし弟子たちが、自分たちだけでこれをしなければならないと考えるなら、それは不可能です。しかし、イエス様は彼らを助けられるためにそこにおられました。弟子たちは5つのパンと2匹の魚を持ってくればよかったのです。そして、イエス様は奇跡(きせき)をもって、その食べ物を増やし、皆に食べさせました。
• 私たちも同じです。私たちは少ししかできないのに、イエス様はほとんどすべてをなさいます。しかし、私たちはその小さなことをしなければならないのです。
• 大阪高松教区には約2000万人の人々がいます。しかし、洗礼を受けている人はわずか3％です。私たちはその人たちを養(やしな)うために何をするのでしょうか。

1 – Los discípulos le piden a Jesús que mande a la gente volver a sus casas porque no tienen con qué darles de comer. Y Jesús les da una respuesta sorprendente: “¡Dadles vosotros de comer!”

2 – Si los discípulos piensan que por sí mismos deben hacer esto, es imposible. Pero Jesús está ahí para ayudarlos. Ellos solo tuvieron que traer 5 panes y dos peces. Y Jesús, con un milagro, multiplicó la comida y dio de comer a todos.

3 – Y así sucede también con nosotros. Nosotros hacemos un poco y Jesús lo hace casi todo. Pero hay que hacer ese poco.

4 – En la diócesis de Osaka-Takamatsu hay alrededor de 20000000 personas. Y solo el 0,3% está bautizado. Hay muchísima gente con hambre de sentido. ¿Qué vamos a hacer para darles de comer?

1 – The disciples ask Jesus to send the people back to their homes because they have nothing to feed them. And Jesus gives them a surprising answer: «You give them something to eat».

2 – If the disciples think that by themselves they must do this, it is impossible. But Jesus is there to help them. They only had to bring 5 loaves of bread and two fish. And Jesus, with a miracle, multiplied the food and fed everyone.

3 – And so it is with us. We do a little and Jesus does almost everything. But we have to do that little.

4 – In the diocese of Osaka-Takamatsu there are about 20000000 people. And only 0.3% are baptised. There are a lot of people hungry for meaning. What are we going to do to feed them?
