Cuando sucede, comemos. Pero luego volvemos a tener hambre. Y as\u00ed toda la vida. Adem\u00e1s, con el hambre del cuerpo nos pasa una cosa y es que tiene un l\u00edmite. Seguro que alguna vez hemos experimentado el llegar a nuestro l\u00edmite con la comida. Si comemos algo m\u00e1s, reventamos.\r\n\r\n2 \u2013 Podr\u00edamos hacernos una pregunta. Si el cuerpo tiene hambre, \u00bftambi\u00e9n tiene hambre el coraz\u00f3n? \u00bfDe qu\u00e9 tiene hambre? El coraz\u00f3n tiene hambre de amor. El coraz\u00f3n tiene hambre de ser amado. Pero no solo de ser amado, sino tambi\u00e9n de amar. Y entonces, \u00bfcu\u00e1nto queremos que nos amen? \u00bfTiene l\u00edmite nuestra hambre de ser amados? Parece que no. El hambre de ser amado es infinito.\r\n\r\n3 \u2013 Cuando el cuerpo tiene hambre comemos. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hacemos para saciar el hambre de infinito de nuestro coraz\u00f3n? A los ni\u00f1os que recib\u00edan la Primera Comuni\u00f3n les preguntaba esto. Y luego les dec\u00eda: \u201c\u00bfQui\u00e9nes son los que m\u00e1s os quieren?\u201d Y ellos contestaban: \u201cNuestros padres\u201d. Y yo les dec\u00eda: \u201c\u00bfY vuestros padres os quieren con un amor infinito?\u201d Y ellos respond\u00edan al un\u00edsono: \u201c\u00a1Si!\u201d. Pero yo les dec\u00eda: \u201c\u00a1No!\u201d. Y para mostr\u00e1rselo les pon\u00eda un ejemplo muy sencillo. Les dec\u00eda: \u201c\u00bfVerdad que alguna vez vuestros padres han perdido la paciencia con vosotros y os han dicho alguna palabra en voz alta? Eso es porque la paciencia de vuestros padres, igual que la m\u00eda, no es infinita. Tiene un l\u00edmite.\u201d\r\n\r\n4 \u2013 Pero entonces, tenemos en el coraz\u00f3n un hambre de amor infinito y ni siquiera nuestros padres pueden saciar esa hambre. \u00a1\u00bfQu\u00e9 hacemos?! \u00bfTendremos que vivir toda la vida con un coraz\u00f3n insatisfecho? En ocasiones, para intentar saciar esta hambre de ser amados, vamos a buscar a los lugares o a las personas inadecuadas. Y entonces, el coraz\u00f3n se hiere.\r\n\r\n5 \u2013 Hasta que escuchamos a alguien decir: \u201cEl que come de este pan vivir\u00e1 para siempre\u201d, \u201cEl que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre tendr\u00e1 vida eterna y yo lo resucitar\u00e9 en el \u00faltimo d\u00eda\u201d. Estas son las palabras que escuchamos en el Evangelio. Jesucristo es la respuesta completa y definitiva al hambre de ser amados que tenemos en nuestro coraz\u00f3n. When it happens, we eat. But then we get hungry again. And so on all our lives. And there is one thing about the body's hunger, and that is that there is a limit to it. What is it hungry for? The heart hungers for love. The heart hungers to be loved. But not only to be loved, but also to love. So how much do we want to be loved? Is there a limit to our hunger to be loved? It seems not. The hunger to be loved is infinite.\r\n\r\n3 - When the body is hungry, we eat. But what do we do to satisfy our heart's hunger for infinity? I would ask the children receiving their First Communion this question. And then I would say to them: \"Who are the ones who love you most?\" And they would answer: \"Our parents\". And I would say to them: \"And do your parents love you with an infinite love?\" And they would answer in unison: \"Yes! But I would say: \"No!\". And to show them that, I would give them a very simple example. I would say to them, \"Have your parents ever lost patience with you and said a word out loud to you? That's because your parents' patience, like mine, is not infinite. There is a limit to it.\r\n\r\n4 - But then, we have in our hearts a hunger for infinite love and even our parents cannot satiate that hunger. What do we do! Will we have to live all our lives with an unsatisfied heart? Sometimes, in an attempt to satisfy this hunger to be loved, we go looking for the wrong places or the wrong people. And then, the heart is wounded.\r\n\r\n5 - Until we hear someone say: \"Whoever eats of this bread will live forever\", \"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day\". These are the words we hear in the Gospel. Jesus Christ is the complete and definitive answer to the hunger to be loved that we have in our hearts.
