Estamos celebrando el \u00faltimo domingo del adviento. Y en el Evangelio escuchamos c\u00f3mo Mar\u00eda, embarazada de Jes\u00fas, acude a ver a su prima Isabel. Dice el evangelista Lucas que Mar\u00eda \u201cse puso en camino deprisa hacia la monta\u00f1a\u201d. Es decir, que Mar\u00eda ten\u00eda prisa por llegar a casa de Santa Isabel. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 motivo ser\u00eda? Seguro que podr\u00edamos pensar en muchos motivos obvios como por ejemplo para ayudar a Isabel en el parto.\r\n\r\n2 \u2013 Pero creo que es importante pensar en un motivo que quiz\u00e1 no surge tan f\u00e1cilmente. La misi\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda es ser la madre de Dios. Pero junto a esa misi\u00f3n est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n la misi\u00f3n de llevar a todos hacia su hijo Jes\u00fas. Y por eso es por lo que creo que la Virgen Mar\u00eda ten\u00eda prisa en llegar a la casa de su prima. Quer\u00eda, cuanto antes, poder hablarle a santa Isabel de Jes\u00fas y que as\u00ed le conociera.\r\n\r\n3 \u2013 De hecho, el primero en reconocer a Jes\u00fas, curiosamente, es un ni\u00f1o todav\u00eda no nacido. Se trata de Juan el Bautista, que desde el vientre de su madre salt\u00f3 de alegr\u00eda al reconocer la presencia de Dios. Hoy en d\u00eda, cuando en muchas ocasiones se le niega a un ni\u00f1o no nacido el derecho a la vida, podemos ver c\u00f3mo ya desde el vientre materno, hubo un ni\u00f1o que salt\u00f3 de alegr\u00eda al reconocer que Jes\u00fas estaba cerca.\r\n\r\n4 \u2013 Ahora que estamos tan cerca de la Navidad, quiz\u00e1 es un buen momento para buscar un rato en nuestra ajetreada agenda antes del mi\u00e9rcoles. \u00bfPara qu\u00e9? Pues para poder tener un rato de silencio y contemplar una imagen del nacimiento de Jes\u00fas. Y tambi\u00e9n leer uno de los relatos evang\u00e9licos que cuentan el nacimiento de Jes\u00fas.
